We are a community organisation, a registered charity, and have amazing Volunteers who come back year after year to help give our elderly neighbours a Christmas Day to remember. With the generosity of our supporters and volunteers we are able to deliver a memorable Christmas Day to the elderly in our community; we escort them to the venue, provide refreshments, a fabulous Christmas dinner, quality entertainment, lovely gifts, fun and companionship, which is remembered long after the Christmas decorations have been put away.

We cater for approximately 100 elderly guests who would otherwise be spending Christmas Day alone, and we have a fantastic team of volunteers who donate their own time to ensure that our special guests have a Christmas Day to remember.

Without generous donations and sponsorship we would not be able to organise this event; we are truly thankful to everyone who contributes financially, allowing us to continue with this worthy cause.

Ruth Seabrook who has successfully managed this event for over 40 years, stepped down as the Chairperson in December 2021, but remains on the Committee. Her successor to the Chair is Rebecca Seabrook who now leads the MKCDPE Committee working throughout the year to plan every detail of this special day.
